  必须穿制服。 A Uniform vender will be available on site during the orientation and first day of class. 请准备购买所需的制服。

  The uniform will include pants, EMS boots, polo shirt, belt, sweatshirt and hat with LMC EMT insignia. EMS equipment needed for the class includes a trauma pack, stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, pen light and trauma shears. You are also required to purchase a wrist watch with a second hand.

  EMT课程有三个组成部分：

  1. 教学（160学时）：技术、理论和实践实践教育。
  2. Clinical (24 hours): field training (Ambulance/Fire ride-alongs) with a minimum of 10 patient contacts.
  3. 考试（12学时）：周考、期中、期末考试

  This course is fast paced through lectures, interactive presentations, skills labs and simulations, you will build the knowledge and skills to care for patients in the pre hospital setting. Students are required to pass the National Registry Skills (Psychomotor) Exam. Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be eligible to take the National Registry (Cognitive) Exam required prior to applying for California State EMT certification.

  This course meets all the educational requirements for the certification process as specified in the regulations of the State of California Emergency Medical Services Authority.
