不! 荣誉课程 don't have MORE work than their regular counterparts, rather they have DIFFERENT work。 So, for example, you'll still write the same number of pages in your 荣誉 English class, but the topics and books will be more sophisticated。

荣誉课程特点的完整描述

我的荣誉课程会有不同的评分吗？

荣誉课程 are NOT graded on a curve so you will not be forced to compete for a limited number of "A" and "B" grades。 Your honors professors know that you are being graded on challenging material 澳门威尼斯人网上赌场 requires more original and in-depth thinking and research。 This additional effort required in 荣誉课程 will be reflected in your grades, but as in any class, students who fail to meet course standards will be assigned low marks。

不! To be an Active Member of the Program you need to take at least two 荣誉 Course or Contract in the academic year (Fall + Spring semesters)。 Most students take one per semester, but you can double-up in a single semester as well。 To graduate from the 荣誉 Program as an "荣誉 Scholar" you need to take 5 荣誉课程/Contracts total 澳门威尼斯人网上赌场 averages out to about one per semester。 However many of our students merely take one or two 荣誉课程 -- the decision is up to you。

荣誉合同

荣誉合同 give program members who cannot fit 荣誉课程 into their schedule the opportunity for academic work in the 荣誉 Program。 荣誉合同 give you the unique opportunity to work one-on-one with your professors on personally designed projects 澳门威尼斯人网上赌场 complement the regular work in the course。 荣誉合同 take about 25 extra hours of work。

自动荣誉课程

自动荣誉课程 are those 澳门威尼斯人网上赌场, due to their intensive nature, give students "automatic" honors credit towards their 荣誉 Scholar requirements without any additional work beyond the course's assignments。 The Automatic Courses are Biological Science 20, 21, 40, 45, and 50 ; 化学28、29； Engineering 45, ETEC 20, 30, 40 and 50; 数学230、240和250； 物理40、41、42； and Registered Nursing 22, 26, 31, and 26。 这些课程不会在成绩单上显示为荣誉课程。
