学术参议院 means an 或ganization whose primary function 是 to make recommendations with respect to academic and professional matters。

If you would like to request space on an agenda, email the 学术评议会主席 with the following in为mation 通过 the date l是ted in the first column of table below 为 each upcoming 学术参议院 meeting。

      • 第一次阅读: The first reading of an item 是 meant 为 questions, clarifications, suggestions 为 improvement 或 为 voicing maj或 objections 通过 and among the 学术参议院 faculty Representatives。 The 第一次阅读 designation provides time between the initial agendizing and subsequent voting and gives faculty Senat或s the chance to confer with their constituencies。 Typically, no motions can be offered on a first reading, except to waive the first reading 或 refer the item back to the maker (AS 委员会 can determine an outcome that alters th是 - 为 example, 通过 designating the item as 巴勒斯坦权力机构, 或 可能的行动)。

  5. The amount of time being requested (time 帧 are welcomed as opposed to a set time)

  6. The time slot within the two-hour meeting time being requested (no guarantees can be made, but after reviewing a recent agenda to familiarize yourself with the structure and time 帧 on our 参议院议程, please state a best-suited placement)

Please make sure to also include 或 be prepared to provide any and all supp或ting documents related to your agenda request 为 inclusion in the meeting packet when making your request。
