匹兹堡市。 – Los Medanos College (LMC) is pleased to announce Rachel Anicetti as dean of Liberal Arts, effective July 1. 她自2024年8月起担任临时院长。

Anicetti had served as the Transfer Center director since 2017, where she helped lead initiatives, such as Strategic Enrollment Management, Guided Pathways and Articulation Development. Each of these initiatives helped students navigate the college system, take the proper order of courses to complete requirements needed to enter four-year institutions, achieve associate degrees, or certificates to advance their careers. Since joining LMC in 2015, she has held roles including adjunct faculty member and coordinator of Transfer and Career Services.

"I am thrilled to continue working with the fabulous students, staff, and faculty of Los Medanos College in this new capacity,” Anicetti said. “去野马!”

Anicetti also has experience working in community organizations, helping Bay Area youth who were homeless or in need of mental health support or college access assistance. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of California, Santa Cruz and master’s degree in social work from California State University, East Bay.
