洛斯梅达诺斯学院基本执法学院, originally founded in 1974, is offered through partnership with the Contra Costa County, Office of the Sheriff, 执法训练中心 (LETC) located in downtown Pittsburg, CA. The Basic Academy is a fully functional law enforcement training facility consisting of the main academy building, a firing range, driving range, and off-site “simulated ammunitions” enclosed dwellings. The California Commission on Police Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) certifies the Basic Academy.
