My favorite area is Interpersonal Communication, my favorite paradigm is the Narrative Paradigm and my favorite theory is Social Exchange Theory.

When I’m not busy teaching at LMC, I’m learning Korean, exploring little towns in California, perusing through art museums, and traveling.

I have a passion for learning and believe we are in a constant journey of personal growth. I find fulfillment in sharing my passion for communication and psychology with my students, friends, and family. I’m energetic, appreciate humor, empathetic, and helpful.

如果我有什么超能力，那就是瞬间移动。 I love traveling to different countries and this will allow me to be in Italy, South Korea, or the Philippines in the morning and be back on time at LMC for my evening class.

I am fascinated about Intrapersonal Communication and how our thoughts affect the quality of our lives. I love learning about the psychology of the fear most people feel, when it comes to public speaking. It is so rewarding to watch students' excitement, when they find their voice!

我对教学充满热情。 我是一个有趣的奶奶。 I have a ranch, where our two amazing horses live. 我喜欢探索新的地方。 My husband and I want to visit all the National Parks, in our motorhome, with our two rescue Chihuahuas.

我喜欢LMC学生的善良和关怀。 I feel that our future is in very good hands with our students at the helm.

Having the energy to juggle school and grandma duties and to keep all the components running smoothly.

Their drive and motivation to learn and participate in class even when they meet at 6:40 pm at night after a long day at work

I would chose the power to heal others on a physical, emotional, and mental basis because there is so much hurt and pain in the world and folks need to heal.

I love to travel, so I'm always either planning my next trip or loading my kids in the car to take off on an adventure. I also enjoy reading, writing, camping, hiking, yoga, baking, and all things theme-park related.

In my daily life I use and think about 联系 Theory and Social Penetration Theory a lot. I'm fascinated by watching students get to know each other, and I'm thrilled to watch a room full of strangers become true peers and, sometimes, friends.

更聪明地工作，而不是更努力地工作。

善解人意，坚持不懈，爱玩，笨拙。 If I were an animal, I'd be a golden retriever.

我很高兴听到我们的学生有各种各样的兴趣和生活经历。

Trying to talk myself out of ordering a pizza to eat by myself, binge watching Netflix or Game of Thrones with my partner or hanging out with family and good friends.

它在不断变化，但目前…… 媒介素养! It's something that's really prevalent in society today. Realizing that the media we expose ourselves to everyday is heavily influencing our beliefs, attitudes, etc. is something that more people need to be made aware of.

You can fail at 澳门威尼斯人网上赌场 you don't want, so you might as well take a chance at doing 澳门威尼斯人网上赌场 you love.

我会形容自己是一个古怪、热情、勤奋的人。

我喜欢LMC学生的多样性。 Each one has a different personality and they each have something special they bring to the table. They are also very engaged and motivated; 他们是真正值得钦佩的人。

I enjoy reading, playing basketball, going to antique flea markets, collecting historical art, and struggle to dance bachata with my wife, Damaris.

在传播学领域，你最喜欢的想法是什么？ Of the various sub-disciplines in the field, intercultural communication is probably my favorite, particularly research on historical memory and narrative.

“The chief task in life is simply this: to identify and separate matters so that I can say clearly to myself 澳门威尼斯人网上赌场 are externals not under my control, and 澳门威尼斯人网上赌场 have to do with the choices I actually control. 那我从哪里寻找善恶呢？ 不是对无法控制的外界，而是对我自己的选择……”

The ability to force myself to do the things I sometime *don't* want to do (i.e., wake up early and go to the gym, order that salad instead of pizza, etc.)

Teleportation--I love to travel, but it can get expensive very quickly, so I'd love the ability to go from place to place in the blink of an eye.
